When i was six,
my favorite color was Pink.
Now im twenty-three,
i no more see in colors.
When i was six,
i was terrified of the dark.
Now im twenty-three,
i am at peace in the dark.
When i was six,
auntie told me it was just a phase
that i'll grow out of pink.
Now im twenty-three,
please assure me its only a phase,
that i'll grow out of these woes.

I don't think people, they ever change.
I don't think people, they ever change.
They have always been THAT person and they will always be THAT person. I think they start discovering more of who they are and what they really want in life or what they want from it. And accordingly they start to "change". And change is subjective. "change" varies from how to look at it. Change " with respect to" is how i would have worded it in mathematics.
values, thought and beliefs have changes does not mean that they were not true to themselves or to you, matter of fact. they were true as true as they could be! because back then they only knew a part of themselves and they were very true to that part of them.. and now since they know more of themselves they are becoming true to that part as well.. and just because you do not like that "changed" part of them does not mean they were fake before or that they are fake now. Just like you are trying to figure out life and you, they are also trying to figure out their life and them!
During high school, we always hang out around people with similar interest, people ave their "cliques" and we never really get a chance to discover a part of us that is beyond that clique. We become limited and out thoughts of who we are and who we are supposed to be are bounded and defined. But once you get our of that boundary in college, where you meet people from sooo many backgrounds and so many different "point-of-views" some odd and some very familiar, then we begin to question our-self and our identity. who we are and what we really want. And that is when i think people "change" , they discover the side of them that has been hiding, the part of them that they love even more. And i truly think this is an amazing transition. because change, weather good or bad, is always amazing. How beautiful is it to go exploring into oneself and discover that your abilities, interests, and abilities are limitless.
Its is very hard to accept changes, within our-self or in other. But we always have to remember that if day doesn't turn into night, we would miss out on all the pretty star we see at night. and if night never changed into day, we would miss out on all the morning glories. We would not know what rainbows are if it never rained, and there would be no picnics if the rain never stopped. :)
Ain't it wonderful to be living in the world where the only constant thing is this change?
And with that said, i'd like to share with you my favorite poem.
"Cloudy"
Nothing that is can pause or stay;
The moon will wax, the moon will wane,
The mist and cloud will turn to rain,
The rain to mist and cloud again,
Tomorrow be today.

Better days
"Someone told me,
Better days are coming soon.
After the sun sets,
There's always the moon."

Rivers and Rapids
Im like a River,
I flow,
Places to places
I go.
Im like a River
I flow,
Cutting thru obstacles
I explore.
Im like a River
I flow
Gathering rough stones
In galore.
Im like a River
I flow
Smoothing out the pebbles
Along the road.
Im like a river
I flow
Rushing thru the mountains
Pacing thru the plains.
Im like a River
I flow.
Never stagnant
Forever alive.
